When wandering an ancient ruin (as one does), you stumble upon a dusty pile of cobweb-laden relics. Within the mound, a glimmer catches your eye, and curiosity gets the better of you.

Before you think better of it, you pull out a tarnished old oil lamp. Upon moving your hand across its surface to brush away the dust, you are shocked to see a sparkling cloud emerge from the vessel's confines, rising and molding itself into the shape of a beautiful (and surprisingly buff) genie.

"Greetings, master," the woman speaks, her voice reverberating through the ruin's halls like an entire chorus. "Long have I waited for my next charge. Too long. Now that you have finally come, I have but enough power to grant you one wish. All I ask is that you please not put me back in that dirty old pile again. Spiders are far from the most entertaining company."

Welcome to the first ever Fated Scenario/Gatcha combo game ever! Our house has been surrounded by a horde of strange and (frequently) lewd slime-people! We'll need all the help we can get to break their cores and put a stop to this evil menace!

HOW TO PLAY:

The slime-zombies need to have their cores broken in order for Spritz to get his slime back and start fighting back in earnest. Use whatever means you want to take them out; violence, guile, or follow along with their whims until their defences are down. Anything goes!
As the game type suggests, there are two ways to play; Scenario and Gatcha.

The Gatcha:

This is the safest, yet less rewarding way to handle the horde. Simple say your character's name, then the word "Gatcha," Then your preferred method of attack. (Attack, trick, or lewd.) You will receive a small blurb detailing your plan and how many slime folk you take out.

The Scenario:

The much more involved method, this way is much like any other Fated Scenario. Simply write out your method of attack, and you will be judge appropriately. However, bear in mind; The slime-horde is fickle and will add twists and/or fetishes as they see fit. Each response can, in turn, be responded to for the usual "double or nothing" strategy. Play it right, and you could net yourself some serious points.

This event will last until there is no more interest to be had. You may Gatcha pull as much as you like, provided there is no response incoming. Freely respond here with what you plan to do.

Good luck, and happy hunting!

(At the dead of night, in the cold and the dark, the world grows unnaturally still....)
[15 DAYS REMAIN.]

~~~
(Beyond and below the snow-covered woods, a strange tension grows...)
[14 DAYS REMAIN.]
~~~

(The winter creatures, what few were around, quickly run away as soft, nearly imperceptible footsteps gently grace the pure white snow...)
[13 DAYS REMAIN.]

~~~
(A strange and mysterious figure moves quickly, yet unhurriedly, flowing over the frozen roots and streams, through dense brush and holes in cliff faces...)
[12 DAYS REMAIN.]
~~~

(The stranger finally came to a hidden spring, the lights in her hair reflecting off of the strange slime-like water...)
[11 DAYS LEFT.]

~~~
(With a graceful flutter, the woman's robes fall off of her captivating form as she steps into the water to bathe....)
[10 DAYS LEFT.]
~~~

("Hope you enjoy my Christmas gift, my little slimeling." The woman chuckles as she starts to cleanse herself of impurities.)

(Elsewhere, in a small commune hidden in the mountains by the sea, the festivities were being set up with great joy...)
[9 DAYS LEFT.]

~~~
(The motley crew of strangers-made-family worked hard to spruce up the place for the holidays. Decorations were hung, ingredients were bought and stored, and both toys and "toys" were wrapped and placed under the Christmas tree...)
[8 DAYS LEFT.]
~~~

(With all of the holiday tasks done and dusted, there was little to do but eagerly await the special holidays yet to come...)
[7 DAYS LEFT.]

~~~
(Christmas Eve flew by quickly, and everyone in the commune eagerly went to bed that night, excited for tomorrow. But deep beneath their feet in the earth below, a strange lake begins to stir...)
[6 DAYS LEFT.]
~~~

(Christmas was finally here! There was laughter, feasts, and presents galore! And in the evening, there was one of the biggest orgies the commune had ever seen.

It wasn’t until much later that people realized that, at some point in the middle of the day, the slime-cat seemed to vanish into thin air…)
[5 DAYS LEFT.]

~~~
(Strange happenings started to happen as soon as Christmas was over. Odd noises from seemingly random places, bizarre tracks in the snow, and mysterious figures in the darkness of the nearby woods soon began to plague everyone living there…)
[4 DAYS LEFT.]
~~~

(Things came to a head when the chickens were spooked in the middle of the night and the shed looked like it had it’s door seemingly forced open. Everyone was debating about what to do the next day when the back door suddenly slammed open…)
[3 DAYS LEFT.]

~~~
(Everyone ran to the back door to find Spritz sprawled out on the floor, barely enough slime to cover his core. “C-Close the door!” He wheezed out of breath. Looking outside, everyone saw what had been chasing him;
Numerous humanoid figures in various body types, both male and female, were shambling forward at breakneck speeds. Each of them had one, both, or neither sets of genitals in various degrees of vulgarity. They had large cat ears on top of their faceless heads, but it wasn’t until they got closer to the light that everyone saw the worst aspect of it all…
Each of them had a large glittering core and was made out of slime, just like Spritz…)
[2 DAYS LEFT.]
~~~

(With some quick thinking, the back door was slammed shut just before the slime creatures could get inside. Looking out the window, even MORE were coming out of the woods as a shambling horde.

45 minutes later, with the house secured yet surrounded, everyone gathered in the main room to hear what the slime cade had to say about what was really going on…)
What do you wish for?
The odds of death in this scenario are higher than usual, but so are the rewards for success! Good luck!

It was just meant to be a simple hike. An expedition for your sonas together, bonding through the ancient art of exercise and its suffering. They forget which of them had the idea initially, which is a shame, because yours would love to scold them now that they're in a cage.

Imprisoned deep in a forgotten temple, this fun vacation diversion has turned into a rather prickly situation. Lamia - creatures with the tails of snakes but the torsos of men - slither to and fro outside, casting shadows through the slim windows atop your sona's stone cell. The situation in the prison is hardly any better, guards heckling and hissing at them as they pass by. Among their captors are two richly adorned figures who writhe along at their leader's side. The creatures are surprisingly chatty, both amongst themselves and in their jeering, but it's become rather clear that the women in question are the king's daughters.

One is a fiery redhead, strong and scarred, an experienced warrior with braided hair and blood-stained scales, seemingly more comfortable in armor than the decorations befitting her station. The other is a softer, comely creature, dressed in flashy jewelry and leaving little to the imagination as she sways through the halls and casts flirtatious gazes at every guard - man or woman - that crosses their path.

Less flirtatious is how she looks at her prisoners. She clearly has distaste for anything that isn't one of her own, which may be to the detriment of your sona's survival; word among the guards is that the princesses hold a great deal of sway with their father and people, and further are of age to begin seeking partners of a more permanent kind. Perhaps one's odds would be better with the warrior; though she speaks little compared to her sister, she looks upon her prisoners with a great deal more pity, as if she has something to say but can't bring herself to do it.

Regardless of how they go about it, the sonas are caught in a bad corner, well-guarded and running out of time. It is in this window of tension that the princesses begin visiting the prison alone in the night. Perhaps, with some well-considered conversation, all of our lovely vacationers can escape with their lives...

There are 3 rules to using a ouija board. First, you must Never play alone. Nor shall you play within a graveyard. Lastly. You must always say, "Goodbye."

Easy to remember when you're a child at a sleepover listening wide-eyed as your best friend's older sibling explains the rules with undeserved gravity. It is, after all, a cheap piece of cardboard and an overgrown pizza table with a mean reputation. However, now that you're grown, that last rule has slipped your mind entirely at the Function, and you've all gone to bed without saying, "goodbye."

Abandoned downstairs, the planchet moves on its own, unattended. Slowly, at first, it scrapes its plastic legs across the board to the f. Then the u. The c. The k. Finally, to the m and e before returning to the F to begin anew. Each time, it moves faster and faster until it is just a blur.

As luck would have it, you woke up thirsty in the middle of the night. As you are passing through the living room to get to the kitchen for a sippy - after which you'll contemplate a thirst of a different kind. You almost don't notice the strange events occurring. Fortunately, the events have noticed you.

The planchet flies past your face and embeds itself in the wall. For the briefest moment, you saw through the lens in it's center and locked eyes with something big, red, and horny.

I am making a few changes to the ruleset and would like to explain my reasoning as I go instead of just dumping them into the primary rules thread and tellin' y'all to deal with it. Here we go!

Third-Person Is Now Required
I know this is divisive a bit, but I truly think it is for the best in maintaining a healthy distance between the game and its players, as well as in minimizing potential misinterpretations of player intentions and feelings going forward. This has already effected my personal life multiple times, so God knows as this escalates it has the potential to effect everyone else's, and I'd like to minimize the harm potential of a silly pervert play-pretend. To that end, all new threads and their responses should be written in third-person narration. Thank you for your understanding.

Scenarios Can No Longer Employ Host Sonas
While I am happy if this game can provide its players with a safe space for sexual exploration and self-discovery and actualization, there has been a thorough reliance on new hosts employing their sonas to effectively proposition the entire room. While this is not inherently a bad thing, I do think it limits the potential and purpose of the game, and also steers us pretty directly into direct public ERP territory. As much as I (apparently) enjoy textual fucking for attention and praise, not everyone is into that thing, and our goal is a shared perverse kind of creative writing exercise, so going forward please abstain from writing scenarios around fucking your personas. I may try to come up with other ways for sonas to interact in the future, but for now I think this is the best both for the game and for reasons very similar to the invoked third-person requirement. Further, all existing sona threads will no longer gain HP tally after the next score roundup (likely by this coming weekend). I will likely try to make a space for these and any other sort of straight-up ERP groupfinding / public displays to move existing threads to afterwards. By all means, play with each other, have fun, but I need to kick the habit in this context specifically.

On which note, I will at present no longer be engaging with sona-on-sona ERPs. I'd be lying if I said these things weren't all a bit related as much as I'd be lying if I said I didn't really like putting on that kind of show, but I have my reasons. These sorts of interactions have already prompted comments of discomfort from varying parties, and I'd like to keep the game space and my own potential abuse of power within my little community in some sort of check.

Tentative: Classifying Your Posts
This'll need elaborating on as we go, but I'm trying to construct a shorthand so people can find the threads they're most interested in quickly, starting with my own employment of "(MONSTERGIRL)" on my previous thread. This one is not presently a hard rule and I am very open to input in developing this shorthand for community use and comprehension. ty

To understate the obvious, it's been far too long since you got some action.

You decide to go hang out at the local bar, hoping to at least get to first base. But you're getting shot down time and again, and you wind up nursing a drink at the bar. The bartender asks if you're ok, and in a bout of frustration you spill your guts to him. Rather than the empty platitudes you were expecting, the bartender gets this knowing twinkle in his eye. "Here. Look at this, but don't say a word." He says as he slides something that looks like a business card to you. Picking it up, you see a pale blue card with reflective accents and a mischievous cat's face in the upper corner. The bar's lighting is kind of dim, but you manage to read what it says:

"Slick Satisfaction Service."

Wanted: Sexually frustrated individuals that desperately need to blow off some steam.

All genders, genitals, and extras welcome AND provided.

To have a good time, simply return this card, your bar tab, and $30 per person to the bartender, and you will be directed nearby.

No questions asked, no judgements given.

Satisfaction Guaranteed.

~S

You glance back up at the bartender, a slight skeptical look in your eye. He doesn't verbally respond but gives a subtle nod at your silent query. You look back at the card and ponder for a moment about this strange turn of events.

Ah what the hell, you haven't been having much luck anyway.

Pulling out the required amount, you wordlessly hand him the cash and the card, and he slips it under the bar and into the register. "Head out back and climb the stairs. Apartment 3C. Can't miss it." You give your thanks and head out the bar and up the back stairs, seeing nobody around. After a little bit of searching, you find the surprisingly plain door and give it a tentative knock.

"Come in!" you hear, and you gently poke your head through the door. The inside looks... completely mundane. You could easily see the kitchen/living room combo nearby, and a few doors nearby leading to what you presume leads to the bedroom on the far wall. "Go ahead and sit on the sofa." You hear from the recliner that was facing away from you.

You close the door behind you and flop down onto the sofa and look to see who your host was for the evening. You're completely stunned to see... some strange gelatinous cat sitting there. No bigger than a basketball, it's tail waves in gentle motions as it's white eyes and cutesy face give you a look of barely restrained mischief. "Bet you weren't excepting to pay a slime for sex when you went out today, now were ya?" it teased. You could only shake your head no in silence.

The slime's face shifted to a gentler smile. "Since you're here, I already assume you have at least a good idea what to expect. But just in case you need a hint..."

The slime starts to grow, and soon it's shaped like a beautiful and buxom woman, the catlike features leading to a sense of playfulness.

"I can be anything you want tonight."

The slime then shifts into a chiseled and muscular man, a large extension jutting out from where its waist was.

"All you have to do is tell me what tickles your fancy, and I'll give you the ride of your life."

You see the slime shrink back into its original form; it's gaze full of a barely hidden lust that promised that it would keep its promise.

Fated Scenarios is an adults-only creative writing game where your personas are presented with a situation and must respond to it. The goal is to earn Horny Points (HP) and have a good time. To that second end, there are guidelines in place to give the game consistency and ensure a level of comfort for all players involved.

By the game's nature, erotic situations and participation is prevalent and encouraged. Please do not play if you are uncomfortable with this.

Fated Scenarios takes the format of Scenario -> Response -> Fate. A round's host is whoever crafts the initial scenario, and players then respond with what their sonas would do in that specific scenario. The host then replies with the outcome and awards Horny Points to the player.

About Personas:
Personas are the roles players take to interact with hosts' scenarios. Your persona acts as a reasonable level of separation between you as a person and your actions in the game. We do this for a number of reasons:

A slight level of depersonalization allows more freedom of expression without so much worry about how it reflects on your actual life or personhood.

Your actions are your sonas, and remain in the space of the game's various fiction. Ideally, this will prevent any weird parasocial misinterpretation or attachments. In plainer language: I would like to minimize weird stalking and getting the general wrong idea, if I could.

It's fun!

Personas can just be your typical sona you use online, a character you wish to jump into the role of, or whatevever similar floats your boat. We only have a couple general rules presently:

Your persona must be a sentient adult, regardless of species or fantastical context.

While you can employ several personas, it is recommended you keep that count to a small number - say three or so tops - so that hosts can easily identify who they're working with without resorting to the reference thread every time they do anything.

All Scenario responses should be written in the third person. This not only helps keep the game and you a safe distance apart, but helps everyone keep track of who's doing what and minimizes misunderstandings. It also means you can have multiple personas and use the one you think fits a scenario or your present mood the best without it being unclear which you're employing!

Playing Scenarios:
As a player, all you need to do to participate in a scenario is post your sona's response to the initial scenario prompt that starts a thread! The host then replies and gives you any relevant HP and achievements. Outcomes may not always be what you expect - your sona wouldn't be the first to die, for example - as scenarios are not always as cut and dry as they seem, coming in a variety of flavors and gambits. That's part of the fun!

Hosts' replies may also include a continuation request ("CR") after your initial score, giving you a sort of double-or-nothing chance to continue once more to push your score upwards, at the risk of losing points if you flub the job.

Notably, points don't really matter and are mostly here for fun and to encourage playing along. The real goal is to get into a groove writing risqué and in-character content for each other to enjoy! But if you're curious how scoring is meant to work, even if you don't plan to host scenarios yourself, it may be worth reading through the next section!

Hosting Scenarios:
On its own, hosting is easy! Simply create a new thread with an open-ended scenario for other players to respond to, and then respond back in kind and rate the outcome. Here are some things to keep in mind, however!

Please put any relevant trigger / tone warnings at the top of the thread if your scenario might involve them. Given the game in question and the implied risk underlying some scenarios, it may be, for example, difficult to avoid an air of non-con, and not everyone vibes well with that sort of thing. As a general rule we try to avoid these, but considering we keep a death tally around here it may come up all the same. Please don't take this for granted and be offensive for offensive's sake, or I will tighten the restriction.

All characters introduced to the scenario must follow the same rules as Personas! No kiddie / cub shit, no loopholes like "the loli is actually a 10000 year old dragon," etc.

Personas and Players cannot be employed as subjects of scenarios. The game is for creative writing exercise, not direct sona-to-sona ERP or propositioning the entire room for sex. Create a scenario for others' sonas to respond to - including your own if you think that'd be fun, though you can't give yourself HP - but your sona cannot be the scenario.

You may only post one new Scenario per day! We don't want things flooded, and we don't need you burning out. Bank your ideas. Let them fuel you!

When replying to a player's response (AKA describing their FATE), you'll also be giving them a score in Horny Points. While this is rather subjective and mostly for fun, there are some guidelines:

The maximum points a player can earn in any given scenario is +/- 1000 HP. It helps to consider this score as two factors: 500 points for how engaged the player is, and 500 points for how much it inspires your response. If a player's middling response still gets you riled enough to write a boner-fueled novella, you may well consider that 500 points for the inspo but only 150 for their own engagement, giving a final score of 650. Negative points are usually reserved for moodkillers and are thus used sparingly.

You may put a Continuation Request by marking the end of the score tally with a "(CR)" CRs allow players to form a second response to your initial reply, with the catch that the final score for their second FATE being the actual score they get. The benefit of this gambit for the player is that the max score becomes 1200 instead of 1000.

Do not give low scores to try and encourage CRs. Some players may not be comfortable writing past the point your own reply has reached, and nobody should be punished for their boundaries. Please respect this.

Each player is limited to receiving one CR per scenario. If you feel so inspired by each other that you could write an entire smut novel together, by all means do so and share with the class, but that is beyond the scope of this game.

You may also assign a player any relevant Achievements (see below)

Hopefully, by following these guidelines, we can keep the game fun for everyone involved!

Sera is a playful but clumsy horndog of wildly varying charisma who is as likely to be dominant as she is to be absolutely at your mercy.
